Understanding the electronic resource lifecycle and effective communication are two important sections of NASIG’s Core Competencies for Electronic Resources Librarians. The presenters will address these areas by sharing general communication strategies, some e-resources skills for your handy toolkit, and the important role subscription agents play in the e-resource workflow. One electronic resource librarian will share real life examples from her library to illustrate tips, tricks, successes and pain points in the e-resource life cycle, how to set realistic expectations and develop effective communication strategies to solve e-resource cases with less stress and more success!
