NASIG 2006 will be held in beautiful Denver, CO on May 4-7, 2006, at the Marriott Denver City Center. Additional information will be available this summer. Room rates will be $105. per night/per room plus tax.

2005 Election Results

The Nominations & Elections Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the 2005 election.

Vice President/President Elect/Past President:
(Three year term beginning 2005/06)

Treasurer:
(Three year term beginning 2005/06)

  • Rose Robischon, Serials Librarian, U.S. Military Academy

Member-at-Large:
(Three positions to fill; Two year term beginning 2005/06)

  • Adam Chesler, Assistant Director, Sales & Library Relations, American Chemical Society
  • Katy Ginanni, Training Specialist, EBSCO Information Services

Dues Changes

The Bylaws Committee is please to announce the results of the dues proposal ballot. As stipulated in our NASIG Bylaws, a dues proposal requires a 2/3s majority of those voting in order to be adopted. Having received 72.7% of the vote, the proposal is adopted. As a reminder, the new dues shall be as follows:

Regular (i.e. non-student, non-retiree) members in the U.S.: $75 USD
Regular members in Canada: $60 USD
Student members in Canada and U.S.: $25 USD
Regular, student, and retiree members in Mexico: $18 USD
Retiree members in Canada and the U.S.: $25 USD
Members in areas outside Canada, Mexico, and the U.S.: $75 USD

As stipulated in the ballot, the dues change becomes effective July 1, 2005, for all new and renewing members.
