TRAVEL ASSISTANCE: Let NASIG’s “Travel Gurus” help! 


SPECIAL NASIG AIRPORT SHUTTLE

The CPC has contracted with a local transportation company for a special NASIG airport shuttle.  The shuttle service will be available on the 2 primary travel days for NASIG-goers:  Thursday, June 4th and Sunday, June 7th.  Cost is $15 one way, or $25 round trip payable in advance.  You must register in advance, and seats will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.  You can register via the web form 

If you would like to pay by check to NASIG, fill in the form in Word without the credit card information, print it, and mail completed form with check payable to NASIG or mail, fax, or email completed form with credit payment to:

Greenville, SC (GSP) - Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport

Hotel direction: 78 miles to North - Direction

BY BUS:

Greyhound Bus
Asheville  Greyhound Station is about 1 mile away from Renaissance hotel.
Hotel direction: 1 mile to West - Direction

City Bus to/from Airport: There is no direct bus between our hotel and the airport, and the nearest bus stop is about three blocks from the hotel. The bus system has limited service, involving one transfer, to and from the airport, running only between 9:30AM and 6:25 PM. BY TRAIN

The closest train station to Asheville is Greenville, SC or Spartanburg, SC. For more information on AMTRAK, please visit: www.amtrak.com/.

BY CAR

I-40 East from Knoxville, TN; I-40 West from Statesville and Raleigh, NC; I-85 to I-26 from Charlotte and South Carolina; and 19/23 South from Johnson City/Bristol, TN.

We are offering an informal, no-charge service in case you are looking at the possibilities for getting to Asheville and simply aren’t sure which are best for you.  For example:  If you live within a 500 mile radius of Asheville, you might consider driving, rather than flying.  Also – there are several airports you might consider flying to besides Asheville, especially if you are interested in obtaining a rental car, and also if you are planning to bring family or want to take extra vacation days.  Whatever the situation, please contact our volunteer travel experts who are waiting to assist you!
