Baseball Game - Asheville Tourists For the baseball enthusiasts, the Asheville Tourists are playing at home June 5-7 against Bowling Green (associated with the Tampa Bay Rays). Regular/general admission is $7.00, for seniors $5.00. Box seats are $10.00, for seniors $7.00. There are group discounts available based on 20 or more people in the group, $6.00 general admission or $9.00 box seats. A trolley tour of Asheville highlighting several historic districts, Grove Park Inn, downtown Asheville, the River Arts district and more! Stay on the trolley for a comprehensive tour of 1.5 to 2 hours, or get off at any of the 7 trolley stops to shop, dine, explore – then re-board the next trolley to continue the tour. One of the stops is the main entrance of the Renaissance Hotel! What could be easier? Cost is $20 for adults, $10 for children, but a special rate for NASIG attendees is in the works. Keep watching for updates on cost. Located next door to the Renaissance Hotel is the Thomas Wolfe Memorial. This is the historic Old Kentucky Home boarding house which was run by Wolfe’s mother, and where he lived for 10 years. Admission is only $1.00.
