Travel to Denver is easy -- by air, train, or car. Plan to enjoy a springtime trip to the Mile High City!

 

By Air

Take note, the opening program begins earlier than usual this year (Thursday at 3:45 p.m.); also, the Thursday evening dinner event requires a 50-minute charter bus ride from the conference hotel to the foothills west of Denver--so please plan your arrival time accordingly!

United Airlines is the official airline for the conference.

To get a discount, you must mention the Meeting ID Number 538TD when you (or your travel agent) call United's Meeting Desk (1-800-521-4041). Reservationists are on duty Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.

You will receive a 2% discount off the lowest applicable fare, plus an additional 5% discount if you purchase your tickets at least 30 days in advance of your travel date. In the alternative, you can receive 10% off the unrestricted, fully refundable coach fare, plus an additional 5% if you purchase your tickets at least 30 days in advance of your travel date.

Frontier Airlines is another option for NASIG conference attendees. You are eligible to take a 10% off all published roundtrip fares on Frontier.

Tour code G35D must be used on all tickets, and all rules of the published fare apply. This program discount may not be used or combined with any other air travel certificates or program discounts.

Roundtrip purchase is required. Attendees may take advantage of their discount by calling Frontier Airlines at 1-800-908-9068 and referencing Shell Number MC035D. Attendees may also use a travel agency by providing the agency with Tour Code G35D at the time of booking.

Ground Transportation

Rental Cars : A full array of rental car companies is available at Denver International Airport .

RTD (the Denver bus system) and SkyRide from the Airport to Downtown

Public transit via city bus from Denver International Airport (DIA) to downtown Denver is called the RTD Skyride. The route you need is the AF route. It costs $8 one way and takes about 50 minutes (roundtrip advance purchase is a good bargain for $14). The website URL with schedules is: http://www.rtd-denver.com/.

At the airport, board the Skyride RTD bus on the west side of the terminal at Island 5, outside Door 506. Or you may board from the east side of the terminal outside Door 511.

Get off the bus at Market Street Station in downtown Denver. Then catch the free downtown 16th Street Mall shuttle located at the south exit of the Market Street Station. Ride the shuttle eastbound, 7 blocks, to California Street.

The Marriott City Center is one block north of that stop, at 1701 California Street.

Super Shuttle

We have obtained a special rate for Super Shuttle transport from Denver International Airport to the Marriott City Center. NASIG attendees will pay $16 one way or $30 round trip. You have two options:

The shuttle departs from DIA to the hotel every 15 minutes; the DIA counter is open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Parking

Hotel valet parking is available for the following rates:

Up to 6 hours: $10.00

Over 6 hours: $15.00

Overnight: $20.00 (Friday & Saturday)

Overnight: $24.00 (Sunday - Thursday)
